Description
Great opportunity to become part of Spire Renewables, a fast-growing MCS accredited Renewable Energy Company based in Taffs Well, Cardiff, which designs, supplies, and commissions Air, Ground and Water Source Heat Pumps, Hybrid systems, MCLP piping and Underfloor Heating for both domestic and commercial projects and heating installations.
This role would suit a recent graduate with a relevant Mathematics, Science, or Engineering Degree (desirable) or a CAD designer with a mechanical or electrical background looking to enter this sector. As a Renewable Energy Technical Sales Graduate, you will learn to manage and deliver heat pump projects along with other renewable technologies.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Mechanical and electrical project specific designs
- Heat load demand calculations
- System sizing of pumps, pipes, and wiring
- Technical support to both onsite engineers and customer enquiries
- MCS compliance
- Follow up new business opportunities, respond to sales enquiries
- Produce and submit quotations, following up promptly
- Responsible for the ordering, receiving, and managing products to meet the needs of sales activity and customer orders
- Liaise with clients arranging deliveries as required
- Work with other team members to ensure contracts are fulfilled
- Maintain and develop a computerised customer and product database
- Maintain all technical files and product catalogues
- Contribute to website maintenance and optimisation; redesign projects, monitoring, and posting on blogs and social networks
Essential Criteria
- Ability to interpret/draw mechanical and electrical design schematics or CAD design
- Knowledge of building services and how energy is used within buildings an advantage
- A full, clean UK driving license
- Effective time management and ability to maintain accurate records
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent IT skills, including Advanced Excel and other common applications
- Excellent analytical skills
- Ability to organise work and set priorities with a minimum of supervision
- Self-motivated, highly organised, able to demonstrate problem solving skills and a good team player
- Attention to detail and ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects at different stages
- Flexibility and ability to take on additional roles as and when required
- Positive, can-do attitude, problem solver. Willing to learn and use new software platforms
Desired Criteria
- To be educated to degree level in a relevant Mathematics, Science or Engineering Degree (desirable) or equivalent professional experience
- Experience or knowledge of domestic heating and plumbing an advantage
Salary
Starting at £26,000 with quarterly reviews
