
Research Internship at Business Intelligence Consultancy
We are looking for candidates to join our London office for a 6-12 month paid internship, on either a full-time or part-time basis. The salary is £28,500 per annum pro rata, with the potential for a permanent offer at the end of the internship. Annual leave will be pro-rated at 25 days.
You get a broad exposure to investigative research, report writing and an array of other tasks, often on major investments and other high-profile matters. As part of the internship you will be involved in:

Working directly with partners and senior members of the research team, helping them undertake in-depth open-source research into companies, sectors, and topics of interest to our clients.

Draft memoranda and reports in support of assignments.

Contribute to the development and communication of proposals and advice to current and prospective clients.

Ensure quality of client deliverables by having strong attention to detail.

Support marketing and business development efforts by conducting ad-hoc research.
The role will be based at our office in Southeast London, with hybrid options available after an initial full-time onsite training period.

What we are looking for
The successful candidate will have a very high standard of written and spoken English and preferably one other language. We are especially interested in candidates with a fluency in additional languages, with preference for Korean, Japanese, Vietnamese or Portuguese.
You should be interested in business, politics (especially around corruption issues), have an investigative mindset, be organised and have an excellent eye for detail. An ability to prioritise tasks and work on multiple assignments while meeting deadlines is also a must. While we are not looking for any particular academic background, candidates with degrees in law, history, languages and other research-intensive subjects are welcome, especially ones that require you to think critically about information sources.
