We are excited to introduce a brand-new opportunity at Pride Veterinary Referrals – a 12-month Rotating Veterinary Nurse Internship, the first programme of its kind within IVC Evidensia. Designed for RVNs looking to develop their skills within a specialist-led referral environment, this structured internship combines hands-on clinical rotations with dedicated mentorship, protected study time, and in-house CPD.

This role offers a unique chance to build a strong foundation in referral nursing while being fully supported as part of a large, experienced hospital team.

You Will Rotate Through

  • Medicine
  • Neurology
  • Wards

Rotations follow a structured 6-week rolling rota to ensure balanced exposure and continuity of clinical support. You will work alongside experienced nurses, clinicians, and specialists, developing confidence and competence across inpatient care, anaesthesia support, advanced nursing techniques, and emergency care.

Alongside your clinical role, you will take part in a formal training programme including:

  • Funded RECOVER BLS & ALS certification
  • Monthly Journal Club

  • Completion of a clinical audit
  • Required completion of IVC Evidensia referral nurse online training
  • 3 hours of protected study time per week

You will also contribute to the weekend and on-call rota, supporting Pride’s out-of-hours services as part of the wider nursing team.

This programme delivers 45+ hours of CPD across the 12 months, alongside day-to-day experiential learning in a referral setting.
