Job Description:
Sales
- Proactively roll out an End to End approach to our customers' needs and identify value added solutions.
- Prepare offers and estimates for current and potential customers in coordination with the Sales Representative and the commercial function, unless these customers are fully managed by you.
- Submit offers proposals to decision makers for approval before sending them back to customers and Sales Representative.
- Track and evaluate the effectiveness of submitted quotations and propose potential adjustments.
- Manage orders intake while securing respect of company conditions such as prices, order quantities, and delivery deadlines.
- Monitor compliance with agreed delivery deadlines, taking needed prioritisation decisions to solve issues.
- Be responsible for correct tracking and implementation of stocks agreements and VMI procedures. Manage returns and credit notes.
- Maximize sales volume and profitability for assigned accounts.
- Communicate and manage customer requests effectively.
- Attend meetings with Sales Representative and the Plant or Regional Sales and Commercial Manager.
- Promote use of web-based ordering by customers.
- Track the development of customer projects with the technical office.
- Take action to recover late payments from customers.
- Maintain up-to-date information about customers in the company Management System (GPT, SSS, SAP, etc.).
- Attend ad hoc meetings with customers in coordination with Customer Service Manager or Regional Sales Director.
- Prospect accounts by phone assigned in defined working platform.
- Proactively initiate the purchase of merchandise.
- Enhance margins of assigned customers.
Saica Sales System (SSS)
- Implement SPK sales approach as described in the SSS handbook in daily business activity.
- Comply with communication and reporting procedures for perfect alignment with all SPK stakeholders. Use the company's business information systems for reliable reporting for sound decision-making.
- Update and maintain the Account Plan of selected customers upon regional sales request.
- Be responsible for full management of external and internal claims related to invoicing, pricing, overs & unders, and admin errors.
End to End
- Report to Customer Service Manager and during Tier 1 meetings all potential business improvement sources identified as a result of fulfilling duties.
Sales Team Capabilities
- Actively participate in personal training program definition and implementation, supporting new training initiatives and reporting any required skill improvements.
Marketing
- Prepare and organize events to ensure customer retention and coordinate customer visits to the plant in coordination with the Customer Service Manager and assigned Sales Representative.
