Social Pedagogical Worker/ Social Worker (part-time options possible)
Role description
The social worker/social education worker continuously supervises and offers educational activities in the afternoon. In addition, the social worker/social education worker supports the primary and secondary school during school trips and as needed, during lessons.
Job description

Supervision (supervising free play, lunch and when children are picked up)
-
Planning and implementing educational activities in Primary and Secondary Schools
-
Supporting or delivering afternoon clubs or planning and implementing your own
-
Supporting class trips in consultation with the full-day coordination team
-
Registering and deregistering pupils
-
Participating in team meetings and conferences
-
Conducting parent-teacher meetings, general communication with parents
-
Exchanging information with teachers
-
Supporting children in resolving conflicts
Skills and Experience
-
Degree in social work/social pedagogy or training as a certified educator or equivalent educational qualification
-
Some professional experience
-
Bilingual in German and English
-
Evidence of regular participation in continuing professional development
