DBIS is entering an exciting phase of expansion, and we are seeking an exceptional and progressive educator to drive the future of our Computer Science department. This position is designed for a resourceful, student-focused professional who is ready to make a significant impact on our curriculum and inspire students across all year levels.

The ideal candidate will drive innovation in our Computer Science curriculum, with the potential to develop areas such as programming, data science, or digital citizenship. We are seeking a versatile educator who values interdisciplinary expertise through STEM.

Early Career Teachers (ECT’s) are welcome to apply; we offer a supportive environment for those looking to begin their career in a high-achieving international setting.

To be considered, it is essential to have:

  • A bachelor's (or equivalent) degree in Computer Science or a closely related field;

  • A relevant postgraduate teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE);

  • Experience teaching (I)GCSE and/or A Level Computer Science to a high quality (applications from IB Computer Science teachers will also be accepted);

It is desirable to have:

  • A master's or postgraduate qualification in a related subject;

  • Experience working with EAL pupils (English as an Additional Language);

All new teachers are offered two-year renewable contracts and a competitive compensation package, including a gratuity of 18.75%, an additional monthly cash allowance, reimbursement of school fees for one child, and full medical and dental insurance for the employee and their spouse.

Interviews will be conducted in Hong Kong, London or online.
