What does this team do?
Audit matters to everyone, even if you've never heard the word before. When a company shares its financial results, people need to know those numbers are accurate. That's where audit comes in. We check company financial reports independently, so the public, investors and businesses can trust what they're seeing. It's a job that protects people, and it genuinely makes a difference.
In IT Audit, we help organisations identify and manage technology risks that could impact financial reporting and business performance. As an IT Auditor, you will identify technology-related risks, evaluate the effectiveness of IT controls and cybersecurity measures, and assess the impact of emerging technologies, such as AI, cloud computing, and automation, on an organisation's control environment. Working alongside financial audit teams and the companies we audit, you will provide practical insights that support high-quality audits and strengthen trust in technology-enabled processes.
You will gain exposure to a wide range of organisations, from large global businesses to smaller entities, developing both technical and professional skills. This role offers a unique opportunity to understand how technology supports business objectives. It will enable you to communicate complex technical concepts in a clear and impactful way. By helping ensure the integrity of financial reporting, you will contribute to building confidence and trust in organisations and the wider market.
