Role Description
Bridges Electrical Engineers Ltd is offering a range of Year in Industry placements across multiple departments and locations:
Delivery West x 2 roles
Locations: Midsomer Norton & Swansea
- Support the delivery of engineering projects on-site and in the office
- Assist with installation, commissioning, and project coordination
- Work alongside engineers and project managers on live infrastructure projects
Delivery East x 3 roles
Locations: Midsomer Norton, Poole & Maidstone
- Support the delivery of engineering projects on-site and in the office
- Assist with installation, commissioning, and project coordination
- Work alongside engineers and project managers on live infrastructure projects
Estimating x 1 role
Locations: Swansea or Midsomer Norton
- Support the preparation of cost estimates and tender submissions
- Analyse project requirements, specifications, and drawings
- Work with senior estimators to develop competitive project bids
Planning x 1 role
Location: Midsomer Norton
- Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules
- Use planning software to track progress and performance
- Support coordination between engineering teams and project stakeholders

Our placements are open to Undergraduates only. Therefore, it is mandatory for candidates to be an undergraduate for the whole duration of the placement. Please inform your graduation date on your application.
