Year in Industry Placement: Business Capture

Role Overview:

We are looking for an Industrial Placement Candidate (IPC) with a proactive ‘can do’ attitude to work in our Business Capture team. You will be responsible for providing support to the global Acron Aviation business in a challenging fast-paced environment.

The IPC will assist in the bidding and capture management of projects across the business units throughout the entire Project Life Cycle, ensuring comprehensive, competitive, and customer-focused bid proposals are produced for a wide variety of new business opportunities. The Business Capture team collaborates with every aspect of the business, creating solutions and responding to customers' needs. The IPC will gain insight and exposure to sales, project management, finance, commercial, and marketing.

Additional responsibilities include developing and writing persuasive proposals, influencing key stakeholders, and overseeing presentations to C-suite for obtaining approvals. The IPC will also participate in internal strategic initiatives to drive change and continuous improvement.

Role Responsibilities:

• Providing support to the Business Capture teams with the preparation of bids and proposals
• Managing Acron functional teams to review customer requirements and ensure accurate project scope
• Preparing and managing handover to contract delivery with key stakeholders
• Supporting the governance process for timely approvals
• Maintaining detailed records of all bids and proposals
• Facilitating value-focused solutions to meet bespoke customer requirements
• Maintaining high ethical standards and adhering to company policies
• Other duties as required to meet business objectives

Required Qualifications:

• Studying in a relevant degree field - Business Management, Finance with Business Management module
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Attention to detail and excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Full proficiency in English (written and spoken)
• Commercial awareness and understanding of risk management
• Organizational skills and task management abilities
