We’re Alfa. We help asset finance companies improve their business performance by implementing our software - Alfa Systems - and applying our wide-ranging experience of the industry. Established in 1990 and with over 440 employees worldwide, we are headquartered in London with projects all over Europe, the US and Australasia. We can offer you a future in Software Engineering or Consulting - whichever you prefer. Alfa careers are for people of all academic backgrounds and will see you working at our London HQ or potentially at a client’s site in the UK or in one of the many European countries where we have implementations. You may even spend a period in one of our US or AsiaPac locations.

We look for a diverse range of people with varying skills and passions and you should have an excellent academic record from any degree background. Although the job entails technology and finance, experience in these areas is not a prerequisite - when you join Alfa, we’ll teach you everything you need to know.

Our recruitment process

Our application process is simple. We feel we can best get to know you through conversations, so we won’t ask you to undertake psychometric tests or attend an assessment centre. If you are interested:

  • Apply online by uploading your CV and covering letter
  • Telephone interview with a recent Alfa Graduate
  • First round interview (Zoom) with HR and a representative from across the business
  • Final round interview (Zoom) with senior management

Culture and values

We need our people to work hard but that doesn’t necessarily mean long hours. We like to make things better together therefore we people who are inclusive, collaborative and supportive to those around them.

There are various communities you can get involved with from day one including the Inclusion & Diversity, LGBTQ+, Alfa for Racial Equity and Women's groups. There is also plenty of opportunity to get involved with volunteering, through our CSR and Green teams. And if you are interested in activities outside of work there are groups to join such as running, tennis and board games.

We organise regular social talks, events and well-being activities and throughout the year, we hold Innovation Afternoons and an annual Hackathon as your chance to collaborate with others and let your great ideas grow. You will also get to spend time with the whole organisation every couple of months at our company meetings which are a mix of business updates, guest speakers and fun activities. Furthermore we usually have an overnight trip for our Annual Conference which is always something to look forward to!
