Recent research found that only 27% of parents/guardians felt fully confident supporting their young person through the Army application process.(over 600 parents and guardians).

If your young person is curious about the Army, or you simply want to be informed, this session is here to support you every step of the way.

What to expect:

  • A spotlight on the Army Foundation College Harrogate (AFC Harrogate) where 16–17-year-olds can start their Army journey through a unique blend of military training, education and personal development.
  • A first look at the brand-new Parents’ Webpage, designed to give you clear, trustworthy information in one easy place. 
  • An introduction to our new Resources for Parents.
  • Insightful parent voices, sharing their own experiences and perspectives to help you understand what Army life and the journey into it really looks like.
  • Practical hints and tips on how to support your young person. Whether they’re just beginning to explore options or already interested.
