DRW is a diversified trading firm with over 3 decades of experience bringing sophisticated technology and exceptional people together to operate in markets around the world. We value autonomy and the ability to quickly pivot to capture opportunities, so we operate using our own capital and trading at our own risk.
Headquartered in Chicago with offices throughout the U.S., Canada, Europe, and Asia, we trade a variety of asset classes including Fixed Income, ETFs, Equities, FX, Commodities and Energy across all major global markets. We have also leveraged our expertise and technology to expand into three non-traditional strategies: real estate, venture capital and crypto assets.

While interviewing, you’ll gain insight into our business and how we contribute to the financial markets. Most importantly, you’ll meet the people at DRW and hear firsthand from potential future co-workers where a career with us can lead. We are agile in everything we do at DRW, so no need to worry if your recruitment process is slightly different.
1. Submit your application.
We review applications on a rolling basis so we encourage you to apply early when our roles are posted. Our application process is straightforward and only requires you to submit your most recent CV to be considered.
2. Complete a technical challenge.
Depending on your role, this could be a quantitative challenge focused on probability and logic skills or a coding challenge on fundamental computer science concepts. You complete this at home under timed conditions.
3. Participate in a Zoom interview.
You’ll talk to a fellow developer, quantitative trader or researcher on the phone. We’ll get to know you better through technical and behavioural questions.
4. Visit for a final round interview.
We start day one in the afternoon with introductions followed by a technical challenge. Day two is a full day of interviews focusing on a range of topics, both technical and behavioral. There will be time to network with potential future teammates over the course of both days.

DRW Apprenticeship Programmes
We believe talent exists equally everywhere, but opportunity does not. Apprenticeships are a powerful tool in solving this issue and creating real change.
Since 2016, we have supported Code Platoon, welcoming veterans to DRW for software engineering apprenticeships. We also launched our own software engineering apprenticeship in 2020, which seeks individuals from under-represented communities and gives them the training, tools and opportunities to advance their ambitions.
