Expressions Holidays is an independent, specialist travel company with European touring at the heart of everything we do. Where mass-market operators fill aircraft seats by the thousand, we design bespoke, multi-centre itineraries across Europe and beyond — holidays shaped entirely around the individual, built on years of on-the-ground knowledge, and delivered with the kind of personal care that makes clients return year after year.

Our five core European destinations are Spain, Italy, France, Switzerland, and Norway. In Spain we move clients through the Moorish cities of Andalucía, the Basque coast, and the sun-baked villages of Castile. In Italy, Tuscany’s hill towns, the northern lakes, and the baroque south. In France, Provence, the Loire, and Alsace. Switzerland anchors some of our finest rail journeys — the Glacier Express, the Bernina, the Goldenpass — connecting alpine scenery that simply cannot be reached any other way. In Norway, we build itineraries around the fjords, the Flam Railway, and the Arctic north. Rail is central to how we design many of these tours: a mode of travel that opens a different relationship with the continent, arriving in the heart of places rather than at their edges.

We are a proud member of AITO — the Association of Independent Tour Operators — and our Director sits on the AITO Council. Every itinerary we create is underpinned by ATOL financial protection and AITO’s Quality Charter. These are not box-ticking exercises; they reflect a genuine commitment to getting things right for the clients who trust us with something precious: their time, their money, and the expectation of memories that last.
