FCC Environment – the waste and resource management company that looks at the bigger picture.
We care for both our customers and the environment. We help local authorities and businesses minimise the amount of waste that goes to landfill by transforming it into valuable resources, and we retrieve the full value of the resources we collect and process, so they can be used again and again. Waste that cannot be recycled, we transform into energy.

Environmental
This is all about how we protect and enhance the natural world.
For FCC, that means managing waste in a way that reduces harm to the planet. We’re leaders in reducing, recycling, creating energy from waste that cannot be recycled and moving toward a circular economy where materials are reused rather than thrown away.
From recycling more than 1.5 million tonnes of waste each year to enhancing biodiversity, this is what we do.
Social
This is all about people inside and outside the company.
At FCC, we make sure that our employees are safe and supported. From offering free health check ups for staff to providing open access to our wellbeing programme, we as a company are people focused.
We also contribute to the communities we serve, whether through creating jobs and supporting local projects to volunteering and operating reuse shops to raise vital funds for local charities.

This is all about how we adhere to regulations and good ethical practices.

Better opportunities
Graduates are a big part of our vision for the development of the business. Our well-established graduate programme has a successful record of recruiting and retaining graduates, helping us to develop the managers of tomorrow. But, just as important to the business, are qualified HGV drivers who support our activities across the UK, including our domestic waste collection crews and household waste recycling centres.
Net Zero
While some of our carbon-reducing activities count towards targets and mandatory reporting, many others do not – we do them simply because they are the right thing to do.
