Culture & values
Numbers don’t change the world, people do – and our inclusive, people-first culture is designed to help you thrive. We celebrate diverse perspectives, support your wellbeing, and encourage you to build a career that reflects your values.
We look beyond grades and assess potential not only through exam performance, but curiosity, motivation, and alignment with our values: being candid but kind, purposely driven, and actively curious. If you’re ready to grow, challenge the status quo, and make a difference, we’re ready to support you.
Benefits
We care about our people and helping them go further in achieving their ambitions and understand that everyone has different career aspirations as well as lives outside of work.
Our reward and benefits are designed to create an environment where our people can flourish. We are committed to building a culture where our people have access to the necessary benefits to help promote a healthy lifestyle and thrive.
Besides a competitive salary, you'll receive our core benefits including, life assurance, income protection and private medical cover plus access to a range of voluntary benefits to choose from focused on health, family and wellbeing.
Our range of voluntary benefits allows to you to make choices that are right for you. Whether that’s a pension, making use of the shopping gateway for discounts, using the bike4work scheme or additional health benefits or accessing mortgage and financial advice, you can choose the benefits that work for you.
Equity, diversity & inclusion
Included and valued for your difference is how everyone should feel at work. Not just because it’s right, but because we’re all at our best when we’re able to be ourselves.
We know that building a more inclusive work culture, and society, won’t happen overnight. And neither is it something we can achieve on our own. That’s why we’re working with some of the UK’s leading experts to help us. Here are just some of the things we’re proud to have achieved and be working towards.
Disability: We have achieved Disability Confident Leader status, and signed the ‘Time to Change’ employer pledge. This is a commitment to change how we think about mental health in the workplace. We have also trained more than 40 Mental Health First Aiders to listen, reassure and respond to colleagues when they are experiencing a crisis.
Social mobility: We take around 80 young people from lower socio-economic backgrounds on to our work experience programmes every year and we’re currently ranked number two on the Social Mobility Employers Index.
Ethnicity: We’ve signed the Race at Work Charter. It’s our pledge to tackle the barriers to recruitment and progression that people in ethnic minorities face.
Gender: By 2023, we want to have reduced our gender pay gap to 20%, increase our percentage of female partners to 25%, and our percentage of directors to 30%.
LGBTQIA+: In 2022, we ranked 143 out of 403 in the Stonewall Equality Index, and achieved a Silver Award for our progress, we’re working towards our aim of being in the Stonewall Top 50 as well as Gold Award by 2025.
