Hazlewoods is a dynamic top 35 Accountancy practice employing nearly 500 employees across three offices based in beautiful Gloucestershire.

Hazlewoods has provided specialist accountancy, tax, audit, and business advice to individuals and businesses of all shapes and sizes since the practice was founded by Marcus Hazelwood in 1919. We now employ nearly 500 employees across our offices in beautiful Gloucestershire, who work with our clients locally, national, and internationally.

Hazlewoods would not be the dynamic and forward-thinking firm it is without its amazing and driven employees. Almost a quarter of our workforce are studying for professional exams and we are committed to offering opportunities for all our employees to develop and succeed, with structured career development pathways post qualification.

We have 22 graduate opportunities commencing September 2023 and are looking for dynamic and ambitious individuals to help drive the future of our business. We have opportunities across all areas of the business including in our award-winning Corporate Finance and Tax teams, Audit, Accounting and Business Advisory and our sector specialist teams.

Our graduates are supported through ACA both financially and with paid time off for revision and exams and we also offer the joint ACA/CTA programme for those interested in a career in tax.

We partner with a fantastic study provider, First Intuition, who provide excellent tuition and one to one support for all our apprentices. Exam results over the past five years have been incredible

We also run a ‘buddy’ system to ensure our new apprentices are supported whilst in the office.

Application process

Recruitment for Placement Students and Graduates begins in October and concludes when all positions have been filled. Applicants undertake a video pre-screen interview followed by online psychometric testing. Following a successful outcome at both, applicants are invited to an assessment centre. Our assessment centres include group tasks, a presentation and interview.
