At ISG our vision is to become the world’s most dynamic construction services company, delivering places that help people and businesses thrive.
Who we are
At ISG we’re proud of the unparalleled track record and reputation for delivery we’ve built over 30 years, and we’re even prouder to work with some of the world’s most successful and enduring businesses, cities and institutions.
You can learn something new every day at ISG due to the varied projects we work on. We specialise in fit out, technology, construction and development of buildings but also encompass an exceptional delivery dynamic and strong customer relationships, built on mutual trust, collaboration, and open communication.
We do the right thing first, for customers, employees, the planet and for society. We do it in the right way for the right reasons and best of all, we aim to do it first! Before we do anything else, before others in our industry, and before it’s too late.
You will have the opportunity to have input into our vision and strategy to help create frameworks that improve the business which can add long term value. ISG supports your ambitions and helps to inspire and empower people to be the best they can be by putting their future first.
Therefore our Early Career Talent is crucial in ensuring we have a pipeline of bright, capable and driven people to deliver thriving places. Our aim is to give you the best experiences and development opportunities we can offer, helping to build the foundations of your career and enabling you to fully realise your potential.
Our leaders of tomorrow – our placements, graduates and apprentices – have worked on some hugely innovative and cutting-edge projects, including at The Oak Cancer Centre for The Royal Marsden, Sky Innovation Centre and fitting out state-of-the-art offices for a global technology company in Munich, Germany. These iconic projects have helped our graduates and apprentices to develop the knowledge and skills they need to fast-track their careers and make an impact.
Our early careers programmes offer people like you, who are taking your first steps into the construction industry, an opportunity to grow from an expert-driven development programme and learn cutting-edge techniques while fast-tracking your development and career path at ISG. Our four core values to ‘Dream smart’, ‘Speak frankly’, ‘Always care’ and ‘Never stop learning’, tell you what is important to us, what drives us every day, and how we get things done.
Joining ISG offers you a chance to be inspired and excited about helping play a part in doing the right thing first
All our employees must be committed to acting in line with our core values. These are the guiding principles that determine our actions and behaviours at ISG:
Dream Smart – We encourage new thinking and bold ideas backed by knowledge, sound decision and first rate implementation.
Speak Frankly – We value clarity and honesty and we are open and straight forward in all our dealings. We never shy away from tough conversations.
Always Care – We take pride in the quality of our work and demonstrate respect and care for the wellbeing and health & safety of our customers, our people, and our world.
Never Stop Learning – We encourage and reward great ideas. We constantly strive to improve by seeking new knowledge and skills.
Equality and Diversity
We care deeply about diversity and inclusion in the workplace, and work hard to make sure that our people feel empowered and accepted, whatever their background. Why? Because our ability to innovate, challenge conventions and develop bold new solutions depends on embracing different opinions and welcoming new perspectives.
Our ‘Reaching for balance’ diversity strategy aims to accelerate our workforce balance at all levels by focusing on four key areas:
Representing diversity at all levels by putting diversity, celebration and improvement at the core of our vision and strategy.
Recruiting a balanced workforce by proactively addressing the shortage of women in our industry from primary school level and beyond
Retaining a balanced workforce by creating frameworks and opportunities to help people navigate and advance their personal careers at ISG
Removing barriers to success by making our leadership accountable for proactively removing the barriers to gender balance in our organisation.
We recognise that creating a truly diverse and inclusive workforce requires a considered, consistent approach that will take time to generate the results we all want to see. Publishing our annual gender pay gap data is a significant step towards finding solutions collectively as an industry to close the gap, and we’re proud not only of our year-on-year improvement, but of having one of the most diverse boards in our industry.
