L'Arche UK |

L'Arche is an international federation of people with and without learning disabilities sharing life. We have communities in over 150 countries, including 11 in the UK, from Inverness, to Preston, to Kent. Each community is made up of a handful of houses where our members live together, workshops, and an office. Our members with learning disabilities are at the heart of what we do, and our assistants spend between fifteen and forty hours a week supporting them to lead full, vibrant lives.

We believe that care is a universal need and right - everyone wants to be cared for, and everyone deserves it. Over fifty years of L'Arche in the UK, we have learned that good care is transformational, relational, and engages with people's bodies, minds, and spirits. We are deeply inclusive of people of all faiths and none, all ethnicities, classes, all identities, and we are committed to LGBTQ+ inclusion.
