Recruitment Process

We want to make sure you get the Mainfreight feeling from day one, so we keep the application process as simple and personal as possible. We’re not into long-winded rounds of interviews or assessment centres. It’s about us both finding out whether we have a future together.

We have a different way of doing things around here. Rather than having fixed intakes, we recruit as and when we need new talent. To us, it’s about getting the right fit, not just the right numbers. We hire as many good people as we need throughout the year!

Usually, the process would look as follows:

  1. We receive your CV and Cover letter.
  2. We invite you for a short phone call (around 15 minutes).
  3. We invite you for a first interview with someone from our Training & Development team.
  4. We invite you for a second (and last) interview with the Branch Manager.
