Fashion & Home – Trainee Merchandiser Programme

• Who it’s for: Graduates with a love of numbers and fashion
• Location: Leicester
• What to expect: Join our dynamic merchandising team and learn how to make the right product decisions at the right time. You’ll develop analytical, commercial, and creative skills while supporting product ranges across our Fashion and Home departments. After successful completion, you’ll step up to Assistant Merchandiser level, with clear opportunities to progress further.

Finance – Year in Industry Placement

• Who it’s for: Second-year Finance students (or students studying a related Finance degree) who are undertaking a course that includes a Year in Industry/Placement Year.
• Location: Leicester
• What to expect: Gain broad experience across Finance at NEXT through a rotational placement. You’ll work alongside experienced teams, contribute to real business activity, develop your technical and analytical skills and build a broad understanding of how Finance supports the wider business. High-performing placement students will have the opportunity to return to us as a graduate after completing their degree.

Tech – Year in Industry Placement

• Who it’s for: Students currently study towards a STEM degree (on track for a 2:1 or higher) or a STEM Master's degree, that includes a 12-month placement, ideally with relevant studies in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar field.
• Location: Leicester, Pontefract, Doncaster
• What to expect: Your journey into our Software House starts here. Immersed in real-world sprints from day one, your focus will be on full lifecycle development. You'll translate business requirements into code, develop new concepts, test, deploy, and support key applications. You'll do all this while learning the foundations of high-scale engineering and being mentored by the best in the business.

ECommerce - Trainee/ Graduate role

• Who it’s for: Graduates interested in Digital Advertising, Data or AI
• Location: Leicester
• What to expect: We have a fantastic variety of graduate ecommerce trainee roles available across digital advertising, engineering, marketing science, search, and AI-driven automation. Whether you are keen on running data-driven media campaigns across global platforms like Google, Meta, and TikTok, or developing cutting-edge machine learning and operational AI tools, you will gain hands-on, high-impact experience from day one.
