We’re a leading UK financial advice business offering year placements, undergraduate summer internships and graduate programme positions in London and Cirencester, Gloucestershire.
Who we are
Established in 1991, St James’s Place is a fast-growing financial advice business with almost £200bn funds under management (FUM). We offer a range of wealth management services via our network of financial advisers. This network is referred to as the St. James’s Place Partnership and is made up of all types of Partner businesses. Partners are all self employed business owners, but only advise and recommend on SJP products and services. As a business we seek to protect and grow the wealth of our clients through trusted advice and our unique investment approach. This is underpinned by continued investment in our products and services, people and technology, as well as a strong service delivery ethos for both our advisers and clients.
Culture and values
Our culture is the glue that binds us together - It’s one of our biggest assets and one of the biggest reasons for our success. It’s underpinned by core values of doing the right thing, being the best version of ourselves and investing in long term relationships.
We want to embrace a diverse group of backgrounds and experiences to connect with clients, tackle problems and innovate. We raise our voice on the things that matter to us and inspire change from the front. Contributing to our inclusive culture is vital, ensuring a space for everyone to be their authentic self, no compromises.
In all we do, we consider how we affect the communities in which we belong. Over 96% of our group employees are involved in supporting our communities through financial education, charitable giving and volunteering.

Recruitment process
Our application process for all our programmes is the same.
Application dates are published on the relevant programme page on our careers website but whilst we do have deadlines in place, please be advised that we review applications on a rolling basis which means that we may close vacancies earlier if we receive sufficient applications to fill the vacancy. Early applications are therefore strongly advised.
All of our roles are offered in specific areas of our business and so we recommend that you review the job description carefully before applying. Please pay particular notice to any specific requirements (e.g. subjects studied) and please ensure you are available to attend the Assessment Centre date for the role you are applying for.

Our Early Careers programmes offer a bespoke induction programme and a professional skills curriculum alongside your technical on-the-job learning. Some areas also offer graduates the opportunity to study a professional qualification aligned to their job role.
