For over 160 years, we’ve had a clear purpose - to lead the news agenda, spark debate and provoke comment through our journalism. In today’s constantly changing landscape, our purpose is more important than ever.
That’s why we need curious, open-minded and resilient people across our business. People who thrive in a fast-paced environment, who aren’t afraid to explore new opportunities and who are committed to doing what’s right. Join us and, whatever your role, background or skills, you can make the story.
Our purpose is to champion, through high-quality journalism, our core beliefs: enterprise, fair play and enjoyment.
We are committed to freedom - for individuals, markets and nations - and promote a smaller state, capitalism and democracy. We believe in the rule of law and equality of opportunity; we celebrate life and enjoy success.
We're a modern organisation with a rich history. As the news landscape continues to evolve rapidly, we have adapted to thrive. Our clear vision is to pioneer new ways to serve at least 10 million registered users and 1 million subscribers by 2023.
As an organisation, we want to support the communities we live and work in. That’s why we give all our people the chance to be involved in two paid volunteering days each year to support local charities through Benefacto.
For several decades, The Telegraph has supported dozens of charities through its annual Christmas Charity Appeal. We have supported mental health campaigns, food-waste charities, injured military personnel, disabled children and international humanitarian efforts, amongst many other amazing causes. Our 2018 appeal raised over £450,000.
