About us
We’re Together. For over 50 years, we’ve helped thousands of people, businesses and professionals unlock their property ambitions with our common-sense approach to lending.
That means we take the time to understand our customers and find a property finance that works for them. Our door is always open, so we can often help when other lenders can’t or won’t.
Our large product suite of mortgages and secured loans gives us the flexibility to help in a wide range of specialist lending scenarios; including residential mortgages, short-term finance, buy-to-let, auction finance, development funding, and commercial and semi-commercial mortgages and loans.
Based in Cheadle, Cheshire, our 800 colleagues use their expertise and industry knowledge to help our customers throughout the UK, backed by the power of an £8.1 billion loan book.

About our graduate programme
We’re looking for high performing candidates to join our graduate programme beginning September 2026. We’re interested in hearing from you if you think you have the right professional and personal qualities to thrive across a wide variety of roles, including Finance, Data and Project Management.
You don’t have to have an interest in building a career within one specific area or pathway, but you should be curious and open-minded with a craving to learn within a successful business, and a long-term desire to be a future leader.
Our graduate programme promises far more than just a job; it’s the chance to join a thriving business, learn from the best managers and colleagues in the industry, and develop your knowledge and skills.
Throughout your programme you’ll be fully supported by a dedicated Academy Manager, be presented with lots of learning and development opportunities as well the opportunities to work closely with our senior leaders.

Benefits
On joining the business, we offer 26 days annual leave plus bank holidays, and an additional birthday holiday. Annual leave increases by one day with each year of service for the first three years. And we include the option to buy and sell up to five days of additional holidays each year.

Our culture and values

Summer 2026 will see us open the doors to our fantastic new building, The Link. Joining our two existing buildings, The Link will provide our colleagues and visitors a world class working and meeting environment. The upgraded building will even have an onsite gym for colleagues to use, adding to the already extensive benefits our people receive.
We’re also currently undertaking a culture review and using our findings to continue to improve and embed our company values into all of the behaviours, process, policies and systems across the business.
