Along with five partnering universities, targetjobs and Gradconsult are hosting a professional industry idea factory event, providing you with an invaluable opportunity to make a really positive impact on your own professional development and growth of network.

Are you a student or graduate working in your careers, employability, or enterprise team at university?

Through a series of inspiring keynote speakers, workshops and round table discussions, you’ll get the chance to meet people in similar roles from different universities, share your knowledge, and develop your skills.

Enhance your CV

Attendance at, and involvement in a professional conference, especially when representing the organisation you work for, looks great on your CV.

There is the opportunity to submit a bid to present at Peers in Careers. To claim experience of presenting to a group in a professional environment is another valuable experience to add to your portfolio.

You’ll meet students in other universities doing similar roles to you. You’ll be able to share tips and advice with each other to help you develop your skills and positively increase the impact your current role plays within your wider team.

Through participation in round table discussions with employers you’ll be empowered to make a direct impact into how they currently view and handle the issue of student engagement, recruitment and retention.

Skills workshops – Careers guidance topics, digital and influencer marketing of the service

Roundtable Discussions - on a range of topical issues affecting careers today

Student Presentations - on a range of topical issues and the resolutions found

Places are allocated via your university. Please speak to your Careers Service to register for a place.
