Job Summary
A developer role based in London requiring strong communication and customer-facing skills; the candidate should have experience coding in C# or Java and a desire to learn quickly about Financial Services.
The role requires a sense of independence and ability to work within a challenging environment, and involves significant exposure to front office users; mainly traders, risk analysts, and operational staff. It is a great opportunity to learn and extend the successful candidate’s skills in a broad range of foreign exchange-related financial products.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a variety of dev ops-style project deliveries and BAU deliveries within the Jetstream ecosystem.
- Automate the generation of release notes and scripts to change the Jetstream Prod password, and for any Jetstream environment.
- Convert Java code from using ant to using Maven and properly integrate with SonarQube.
- Use a different deployment process for Java code based on the SharpFX team’s deployment system.
- Create a dynamic web page that gives streaming indicative prices pulled off Solace with an appropriate tier applied.

Candidate Criteria
Minimal education level: Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent
Academic qualification / Speciality: Degree in Computer Science or similar
Experience: Good knowledge of Java plus some SQL knowledge and some experience working in a group to achieve a common goal.

- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Analytical thinking and the ability to apply that thinking to practical outcomes.
