As a Full-Time Analyst in the 2025 Firmwide Design Development Program, you will have the opportunity to learn, grow, and contribute to JPMorgan Chase & Co.’s portfolio of work. In our full-time program, we offer two design specialties: Experience Designers conceptualize, structure, and detail our offerings (services, products, and features) within the context of a broader user journey, and Experience Researchers develop plans and conducts research to identify the wants, needs, and abilities of customers and end users, and translate those insights into recommendations for everything from experience strategies to detailed product design

Job responsibilities
- Design and re-design product experiences under the guidance and direction of Experience Leads.
- Participate in user research to better understand user needs and behaviors, and usability testing to see how your solutions work for users, in partnership with UX Researchers and Lead Designers.
- Explore different options through ideation and prototyping, landing on elegant, and even unexpected, solutions that satisfy requirements.
- Diagram the interactivity of the product, including user flows and wireframes.
- Detail design, built upon our Design System, that brings our solutions to life.
- Incorporate Accessibility and Inclusive Design practices.
- Present work, and articulate design decisions, to Design Leads and your specific Product Team
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in relevant design discipline (e.g., Interaction Design, HCI, User Experience Design) in a related field (e.g., Business Administration, Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, Engineering, Communications, etc.)
- Expected graduation date of December 2024 - June 2025.
- Digital portfolio demonstrating the ability to think from the perspective of the user, including the ability to communicate the following stages for Experience Design, Experience Research: Problem, Ideation, Testing, Solution, Impact and Reflection
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Follow through on commitments, executing quality work within expected time frames
- Awareness of, and some experience with, user-centered design approaches
- Demonstrated proficiency in Interaction Design, as well as Visual/UI Design or Information Architecture
- Exposure to user-centered design practices
- Early development in adjacent skills such as User Research, UX Writing, and Prototyping
- Developing understanding of Accessibility Guidelines and Inclusive Design practices.
- Foundational communication and presentation skills, including articulating the rationale behind design decisions.
