2026 TMK Actuarial & Analytics Internship Programme
The 2026 TMK Actuarial & Analytics Internship Programme is now open for applications!
We have six internship opportunities within our Actuarial & Analytics (A&A) team this summer. This 6-week programme, starting Monday 6th July, provides a unique introduction to specialty insurance and how our A&A department leverages data, actuarial & analytics techniques, and technology to drive decision-making.
Throughout the internship, you will collaborate with experienced team members, gaining practical experience, and contribute to meaningful projects. Outstanding performance could lead to a place on our Actuarial or Analytics Graduate Programme, starting September 2027.
Successful applications will get the chance to:
- Dive into specialty insurance: Explore Tokio Marine Kiln's product offerings – including cyber, aviation, and life sciences products – and discover how the solutions we offer address complex client needs.
- Understand what the A&A team does: Learn about the distinct roles the analytics, capital, exposure management, pricing, and reserving teams play, and see how they develop analyses and tools that inform decisions.
- Deliver a value-adding project: Collaborate with A&A team members to create or refine an actuarial or data analytics model, analysis, or process.
- Expand your professional network: Connect with professionals across the company and gain broader industry perspectives.
What We’re Looking For
- A genuine interest in building a career in actuarial science or data analytics.
- Currently in your penultimate year of a numerical or STEM-related degree, or able to demonstrate technical aptitude through relevant experience or personal projects, e.g., blog writing.
- Some exposure to a programming language (e.g., R or Python) through studies or self-learning.
Applications close on Friday 27th February at 11.59pm.
Assessment Days
Successful candidates will be invited to attend an assessment day at our London office on either Friday 17th April or Friday 24th April 2026.
The successful candidate will be welcomed into the TMK family to help us further our purpose of enabling our clients to fulfil their ambitions whilst benefiting society and our people.
