Accountancy Placement (Audit)

Hazlewoods Audit team based in central Bristol is growing and has an opportunity for someone to join them on a contract with a view to joining the ACA training programme from September 2027.

The position is suitable for a recent school/college/university-leaver keen to forge a career in accounting & finance.

We offer excellent hands-on, commercial experience that will provide a solid base for your career, whatever direction you choose to take. This includes a diverse portfolio of audit clients with a turnover of up to £150 million in a wide variety of industries.

You will receive training and hands-on learning of the entire audit process, including planning meetings with business leaders, performing audit testing on balance sheet and profit and loss account items

You will be involved in preparation of completion documents including final analytical reviews and management representation letters. You will also be involved in the preparation of corporation tax computations and preparation of financial statements using Alphatax and Digita.

Subject to a performance over the contract, you will be transferred onto our trainee programme as of September 2027.

Please apply ensuring you meet the following requirements:

• Minimum of 112 UCAS points from 3 A Levels (or equivalent)

• Grade 6 GCSE Maths and English

• Driving Licence essential due to semi-rural office location

• Graduates only - 2:1 degree in any subject
