Right to Work and Visa Considerations
Employment at Nationwide is conditional upon you having the right to work lawfully in the UK in the role you are applying for. Find out more about proving your right to work in the UK at gov.uk (opens external link in a new window).
Nationwide welcomes applications from all candidates, but as a UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) approved sponsor, we have a responsibility to comply with the applicable Immigration Rules and guidance (which are subject to change).
The Skilled Worker route has specific requirements relating to skill level of the role and minimum salary expectations. As such, our ability to employ individuals who require sponsorship for immigration purposes is limited. Nationwide cannot guarantee that you and/or the role you are applying for will be eligible for sponsorship either on commencement of employment or during the course of employment, or that any application made to UKVI will be successful.
Eligibility will therefore be considered on a case-by-case basis. For some of our programmes and locations we expect our ability to sponsor to be limited or not possible due to the salary requirements outlined in the Immigration Rules.
Find out more about current eligibility and minimum salary requirements for the Skilled Worker route here (opens external link in a new window).
Unfortunately, Nationwide are unable to advise on whether you will meet the eligibility for visa sponsorship or other immigration routes.
Nationwide does not support the personal costs associated with a Skilled Worker visa application, namely personal visa application fees and Immigration Health Surcharge costs.
Any offer of employment is subject to providing the appropriate proof of right-to-work status within the UK prior to your start date and for the duration of the programme applied for.
