About this programme

Join the Business Operations Graduate Programme and work alongside the teams that deliver exceptional experiences to millions of customers.

This two-year programme is designed to make things happen. You'll contribute to initiatives that enhance how Sky operates and how customers interact with its services. Whether it's launching a new product or streamlining the supply chain, you'll be at the heart of the action.

What you'll be doing

Programme structure

The programme is built around two directorates:

  • Change Delivery: Transform big ideas into reality, fast.

  • Supply Chain: Move products from factory to front door while ensuring sustainability and compliance.

Year 1: Focused development

You'll spend your first year in two core areas:

  • Supply Chain

  • Change Delivery

This foundation year is designed to help you build future-ready skills and gain broad business exposure.

Year 2: Specialisation and career pathway

In your second year, you'll choose a specialisation within either Change Delivery or Supply Chain.

This tailored approach supports your career goals and prepares you for a confident transition into your next role.

What you'll learn

Throughout the programme, you'll develop the skills, knowledge and experience to:

  • Analyse data and generate insights that drive better business decisions.

  • Develop strategic and customer-focused thinking.

  • Improve supply chain performance while embedding sustainability and compliance.

  • Explore how AI and emerging technologies can improve efficiency, effectiveness and customer outcomes.

  • Deliver work that contributes to business growth and enhances the customer experience.

  • Build strong communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills.

  • Gain a broad understanding of business operations and how different functions work together to deliver results.

What are we looking for?

The one essential requirement is that you're currently in the final year of your undergraduate degree, completing a postgraduate qualification, or have already graduated.

Your degree can be in any subject.

Skills that will help you thrive

  • Enjoy solving problems and finding better ways to do things.

  • Be organised, adaptable and comfortable managing competing priorities.

  • Build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with others.

  • Communicate with confidence and clarity.

  • Be passionate about improving outcomes for customers and making a positive impact.

  • Be curious about how businesses grow and evolve, and interested in how AI can help transform the way we work.

  • Combine creativity with analytical thinking and learn quickly.

  • Thrive in a team environment and be ready to take ownership and responsibility early in your career.

Right to work

Please be aware that Sky does not offer sponsorship for this role. Employment is contingent on having a valid right to work in the UK for the full duration of the programme.

Your application journey

Here's what to expect, step by step.

Step 1: Apply online

Tell us a bit about yourself, including:

  • Your personal details

  • Your degree

  • Part-time jobs

  • Volunteering experience

  • Projects and achievements

Once you submit your application, you'll receive a link to begin the digital assessment process.

Please note: You can only apply to one programme per year.

Step 2: Show us your skills

You'll complete two online assessments designed to help Sky understand:

  • How you think

  • What motivates you

  • How you might fit into the programme

You'll have an opportunity to practise beforehand, and Sky will provide guidance to help you prepare.

While you may use AI to help research Sky and understand the role, the assessments themselves should be completed without AI assistance.

Preparation Hub

The Preparation Hub includes:

  • Practice exercises

  • Insights into the assessment process

  • Stories from current graduates and apprentices

  • Information about your values and learning style

  • Guidance on careers that may suit your strengths and interests

Step 3: Virtual Assessment Centre

If you progress to the final stage, you'll be invited to a virtual assessment day.

You'll take part in a range of activities designed to demonstrate how you:

  • Think critically

  • Solve problems

  • Work collaboratively

The day will also provide insight into what it's like to work in Business Operations at Sky.

Sky will advise when candidates can expect final decisions following the assessment centre.

Need support?

If you require adjustments during any stage of the application process, let Sky know when you submit your application.

A member of the Early Careers team will contact you if further information is needed.
