Client Transactions Ops Analyst

The opportunity

Komainu is a regulated digital asset custody business operating at the intersection of institutional finance and blockchain technology. This Analyst role sits at the heart of our Singapore operations, ensuring the integrity of compliance controls, asset security checks and BAU processes that underpin the business. Beyond day-to-day execution, the successful candidate will play an active role in process improvement and product testing - gaining hands-on exposure to digital asset custody infrastructure that is difficult to find elsewhere in the market.

Your key responsibilities

You will build to full ownership of these over your first few months, working alongside an experienced member of the Transaction Operations team.

• Run the daily operational checks and controls that protect client assets, escalating anything that looks wrong.

• Reconcile assets, fiat and staking rewards, finding breaks and chasing them to resolution.

• Support Travel Rule compliance, keeping records accurate and regulatory reporting on track.

• Help deliver new products, including off-exchange settlement and test new custody solutions before clients touch them.

• Constant improvement mindset. Where a process is slower or more manual than it needs to be, re-design it, AI tooling and small automations included.

Skills and attributes for success

Judgement is key in a control environment - and that's most visible in how an Analyst reasons through something that doesn't look right.

• You reason from first principles. Faced with an unfamiliar problem, you work out what must be true rather than waiting to be told.

• You notice when something is off, the number that does not fit, the balance that moved when nothing should have.

• You ask why a control exists, not just how to complete it.

• You are intellectually honest. "I do not know yet" and "I got that wrong" come early rather than late. Here, that is a strength.

• You show your working. Your conclusions arrive with the evidence behind them.

• You are comfortable with ambiguity. This market and its regulation are still taking shape; you will hit questions with no documented answer and need to make a defensible call and flag it.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• A degree in a STEM, numerate or analytical discipline.

• Real interest in digital assets and their place in institutional finance, evidenced by what you have read, built, followed or tried.

• Comfort with financial data and the discipline to complete a check properly on the days it feels routine.

• Clear, concise written communication - and, when using AI tools, the judgement to check the output rather than trust it.

Nice to have

• An internship, placement, or up to two years in financial services, operations, audit or a control function.

• Exposure to reconciliation, settlement or regulatory reporting.

• Python, SQL, or familiarity with on-chain data and block explorers.

You thrive in a collaborative team, communicate clearly, and are eager to build deep product knowledge in an asset class that is reshaping institutional finance.
