About Our Commercial Team
Prescient is a unique global biopharma strategy consultancy with offices in nine geographies across the world—and we are still growing. We work with industry-leading companies across the full product life cycle to help them unlock the full potential of their brands. We specialize in Brand Positioning & Strategy; Disease Area and Portfolio Strategy; and Strategic Customer Research, as well as a wide variety of other project types.
About the Opportunity
As an Analyst, you will receive exposure to a broad mix of projects—customer research versus strategy, larger versus smaller, global versus domestic. This breadth of experience will enable you to decide if you want to take a more specialized route as your career develops. You will receive a mix of formal classroom training, shadowing colleagues on projects, and on-the-job training to equip you with the capabilities you need to develop and progress.
You will be integrally involved in projects, working as a valued member of the project team. Over time, you will become increasingly responsible for taking ownership of specific tasks within a project, with the necessary support and oversight from more experienced colleagues.
Depending on the project, you could be involved in designing, conducting, analyzing and presenting primary customer research; analyzing secondary desk research and internal client documents; or supporting the design, organization and facilitation of client workshops.
Key Responsibilities
- Professionalism: Exhibit high degrees of professionalism across each aspect of working life, demonstrating respect, integrity and support for colleagues and in interactions with clients.
- Ownership: Take pride in and full responsibility for meeting high levels of performance in work process and output; take charge of your own professional development and proactively seek opportunities for growth.
- Learning Agility: Demonstrate a strong willingness to learn and a can-do attitude; gain expert status on new topics and create impact within the team and with clients.
- Effective Time Management: Thrive in a dynamic environment through efficient planning and prioritization.
- Entrepreneurial Mindset: Succeed in a non-hierarchical environment and take step-up/step-down roles to support strong outcomes.
- Ethical Behaviour: Act as a role model in line with company and client codes of ethics and processes; represent the company and promote its reputation to a high standard.
Required Experience and Skills
- Relevant bachelor’s or advanced degree (e.g., life sciences, psychology, business, marketing, etc.).
- Demonstrated interest in the life sciences/pharmaceutical industry (through coursework or other means).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Well-developed verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
What We Offer
- Highly competitive base salary plus performance-related bonus, pension scheme, and health & dental benefits.
- A strong values-based culture that promotes respect, inclusion and teamwork, with encouragement to contribute and influence the business—where everybody has a voice.
- A team made up of smart and supportive people.
- Accessible leaders who listen, are ambitious for our teams, and are committed to coaching and sharing their expertise.
- An environment where our thinking and our work are innovative, imaginative and bright.
- Ongoing, tailored career development that stretches you and is based on your ambition, abilities and interests.
- A culture where everyone is actively encouraged to contribute and influence the business.
- Flexible working, recognition for going the extra mile, and a flat hierarchy.
