Data and Analytics Graduate Programme
About the programme
Join the team that transforms data into action.
At Sky, data drives everything we do, from creating new products and exploring new markets to predicting the future of our multi-billion-pound business. On our Data and Analytics Graduate Programme, you'll help shape how we communicate with customers and deliver the entertainment millions love.
What you'll be doing
Over two years, you'll rotate through four different teams, gaining hands-on experience across:
-
Econometrics
-
Advanced Analytics
-
Digital Decisioning
-
Applied Data Science
-
Customer Insight
You'll work on real projects, develop cutting-edge analytical skills, and collaborate with brilliant minds to solve complex challenges, from advanced forecasting and credit risk modelling to machine learning for personalisation and customer segmentation.
Best of all, you won't need to specialise right away. You'll explore the full spectrum of data and analytics before choosing your path.
What are we looking for?
The one essential requirement is that you're currently in the final year of your undergraduate degree, completing a postgraduate qualification, or have already graduated.
Your degree can be in any subject. Our programme is designed to give you all the knowledge and experience you need, so we're much more interested in the passion, drive and talent you're able to bring to the team.
Skills that will help you thrive
-
Logical, end-to-end thinking
-
Strong problem-solving, presentation and IT skills
-
Enjoy fast-paced, task-focused environments
-
Collaborative and curious about market trends
-
Technical skills
Right to work
Please be aware that Sky does not offer sponsorship for this role. Employment is contingent on you having a valid right to work in the UK for the full duration of the programme.
You can find information on the length of our programmes on the website.
Your application journey
Here's what to expect, step by step.
Step 1: Apply online
Tell us a bit about yourself, your details, your degree, and anything else you think we should know, such as part-time jobs, volunteering, or projects you've worked on.
Once you hit submit, keep an eye on your inbox (and junk folder). We'll send you a link to start your digital assessments.
Please note: You can only apply to one programme per year.
Step 2: Show us your skills
You'll complete two online assessments that help us get to know you better: how you think, what motivates you, and how you might fit into the programme.
Don't worry, you'll get a chance to practise first, and we'll send you tips to help you feel confident.
We understand that you may want to use AI to support your preparation for the assessments, such as researching Sky and understanding the role. However, the assessments themselves should be completed without the assistance of AI.
Want to go a step further? Check out our Preparation Hub. It's packed with:
-
Practice exercises
-
Insights into the assessment process
-
Stories from current graduates and apprentices
-
Information about your values and learning style
-
Guidance on the types of work that may suit you
Step 3: Virtual Assessment Centre
If you make it to the final stage, we'll invite you to a virtual assessment day.
You'll take part in a range of activities designed to show us how you think, solve problems and work with others, while giving you a real feel for what it's like to work in Data at Sky.
We'll let you know when to expect a decision once the assessment day has taken place.
Need support?
If you need any adjustments to help you complete any stage of your application, let us know when you submit your application. A member of our Early Careers team will get in touch if we need more information.
Where developing you begins
At Sky, your development starts from day one.
Through personalised skills discovery, future-focused learning and real-world experiences, you'll build the confidence and skills to thrive.
Along the way, you'll be supported by:
-
A dedicated Early Careers team
-
Experienced mentors
-
Buddies
-
Managers
This support network will help you make the most of your career from the very start.
Why Sky?
This is your chance to be part of something big.

A career at Sky is where better begins, and it starts with you.
