At L’Oréal, digital marketing helps connect our brands with consumers in relevant and engaging ways. From social media and online content to e-commerce campaigns, our teams use creativity, data and insight to bring our brands to life across digital channels.
As a Digital Marketing Intern, you’ll join one of our teams and support digital campaigns and activity that build brand awareness, engage consumers and contribute to business growth.
Day to day, you may be:
- Supporting digital campaigns: Helping plan and coordinate activity across social media, websites and other digital channels
- Creating and coordinating content: Supporting the development of content and assets for digital platforms
- Tracking campaign performance: Reviewing engagement and performance data to help identify insights and opportunities
- Monitoring digital trends: Keeping up to date with platform updates, consumer behaviour and competitor activity
- Supporting e-commerce activity: Helping improve how our products and brands appear across online retail channels
- Collaborating cross-functionally: Partnering with Marketing, PR, Media, Sales and other teams to deliver digital plans
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
- Initiative and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proactivity and curiosity about digital platforms, brands and consumer trends
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- A balance of analytical thinking and creativity

You are... In your second year at university, studying a course that includes an Industrial Placement. If you’ve already graduated, please check out our graduate roles instead!
What’s in it for you?
- A place to step outside your comfort zone and grow beyond your potential. You’ll be encouraged to try new things and take risks.
- Real responsibility from day one—there’s no sitting on the sidelines at L’Oréal.
- An environment where people of every ethnicity, social background, age, religion, gender and sexual orientation, as well as people with disabilities, are accepted, can speak up, thrive and are celebrated.
- A place where you can contribute to something bigger. Many of our brands support societal and environmental causes to make a concrete difference.
Next steps... Once you click apply, you’ll be asked some questions to check your eligibility for this role. These will include questions about your current situation and whether you’re happy with the salary and location.
A quick note on our process: We believe in a human-first recruitment experience. While our online assessments are scored automatically, every application is carefully reviewed by our team. We do not use AI to make hiring decisions on your profile. To learn more about AI use in our application process, please read more here.
Our Assessment Centres are held in person, running from November onwards. These are specific to each function, so please be patient if you’re not invited straight away; it may be because your function’s Assessment Centre is scheduled later in the recruitment period.
If you apply for multiple positions, you’ll be put forward for the roles most suitable for you. If you have a strong preference, please apply to that single role to ensure you’re considered for your top choice. You can apply for a maximum of three roles.
We’re committed to inclusive recruitment and to hiring and promoting each candidate ethically and equitably. The Group strictly prohibits discrimination against any applicant.
