Equities Trading Analyst Internship

The Role

BTG Pactual Asset Management is looking for an intern to join its trading desk in London. The 6-month programme will focus on working within the Portfolio Management division helping traders to develop quantitative analytical tools as well as collecting and analysing macro market information. The successful candidate will benefit from utilising their strong mathematical, statistical and data scientist skills garnered in the classroom to help develop trading tools and models. They will benefit not just from the practical application of skills developed, but will also gain heavy exposure to markets, real-time trading decisions and have direct access to experienced traders.

What we are looking for

• A minimum 2:1 (or equivalent) at undergraduate or Masters level in a numerical discipline
• A strong computer language (AI, python, R, C++) background
• Data scientist skills
• A strong interest in markets
