Finance Undergraduate Placement Scheme in the Sports Media Industry

We are looking for an enthusiastic and bright student who is excelling in their degree to join the finance team in beIN's London offices. This is a great opportunity for a student looking to complete a 12-month placement in finance and accounting. The successful candidate will gain valuable insight into a finance team works within a global media group.

Key tasks will include:

• Managing AP processes to include positing AP invoices and payments, reconciliation of accounts and preparing weekly payment runs
• Managing AR processes including preparation of sales invoices and maintenance of sales ledgers
• Month end procedures including balance sheet reconciliations and assisting on reporting
• Assisting with external audits and other reporting requirements

Throughout the placement year you will be exposed to all business areas at beIN. This is a hands-on role; you'll have the opportunity to solely manage processes. There's a fair balance between autonomy and support, with a fantastic team on hand to mentor and assist you. You will develop your business acumen and learn a lot about what you want to do professionally long term.

To be successful in this role you need to show excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. You will be meticulously organised and incredibly efficient. You learn fast and can work well as part of a team. You will be kind, hardworking, committed and know how to go the extra mile.

Entry Requirements

You will be working towards a 2:1 degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Management or other relevant discipline.
