Joining our Forensic Accounting team

What is Forensic Accounting?

Our Forensic Accounting team investigates financial disputes, fraud, and irregularities, applying technical expertise to real-world scenarios. You’ll work closely with colleagues in the Forensic and Valuations team, analysing data, solving problems, and presenting findings that support legal and commercial decisions.

Your role as a Forensic Associate

  • Assist with the delivery of forensic accounting assignments across a variety of cases.

  • Quantify losses in commercial and family disputes.

  • Investigate fraud and accounting irregularities.

  • Conduct asset tracing and bank statement analysis.

  • Support share and asset valuations.

  • Draft expert witness evidence and reports.

  • Manage project administration including client onboarding and conflict checks.

  • Work from both local offices and client or law firm premises, depending on the assignment.

  • Develop project management skills as you grow in confidence and experience.

Your Training & Support

You’ll receive structured training in forensic techniques, financial analysis, and legal reporting. You’ll be supported by experienced mentors and work on real cases that make a tangible impact.

You’ll also build your skills in data interpretation, report writing, and client communication, with access to digital tools and guidance from our forensic experts.

Qualifications

This role typically follows the ACA qualification pathway, with opportunities to specialise in forensic accounting and valuations as your career progresses.
