Programme information
You will join as a trainee as part of the Investment20/20 programme. While we can’t guarantee a permanent position at the end of the 12-month contract, it is our intention to make the offer, but this is up to how well you perform. 75% of Investment20/20 trainees are offered permanent positions.
Our traineeship will introduce you to investment management and you will gain industry knowledge, experience and develop relationships enabling you to progress your career and provide you with skills to secure a permanent role. As part of the Investment20/20 programme, you will have opportunities to meet and network with over 300 trainees across the industry and participate in socials and insight events. You will also be invited to attend a ‘Discovering Asset Management’ training session.
Our trainee programme is a fixed term one year contract paying £35,000.
You will receive 28 days annual leave.
All roles are based in London.
We will offer a sign-on bonus of £1,500 to cover a season ticket/clothes/deposit.
Programme Summary
This is a programme intended to give you a breadth of knowledge and experience within the business to enable you to make informed decisions about where you would like to develop your career.
You will join the GFI & Sales Intelligence team. The team is responsible for coordinating business with the world's largest and most complex financial institutions.
Responsibilities include
The role would suit someone that has interest in financial institutions and who wants to support the team with a high level of workload. Full training will be provided.

Collating and disseminating information from regional sales team to build global picture of the GFI. (Global Financial Intelligence)

Work closely with local sales teams to ensure global strategy.

Contribute to the business intelligence on the GFIs (Annual report, Nominations, Business organizations, Fund analysis, GFI Newsletter and CIO Views analysis).

Investigate on the 2 additional groups of the focus list (mapping, addressable AUM, Gate Keepers, current relationship, and funds approved) and prepare dedicated workshops sessions.

Prepare client engagement materials and workshops on specific investment themes (activity review between Candriam and the client, creation and monitoring of commercial strategy).

Create decks for senior team members’ client meetings.

Create briefing note for C suite meeting.

Update presentation decks for the monthly Platinum Call (in collaboration with New York Life Investment Management).

Extensive use of LinkedIn Sales navigator to develop a contact mapping org. chart and reporting structure by GFI.

Extensive use of Squirro/Morningstar to determine Candriam's ranking among our clients, addressable AUM, current market share, and main competitors’ positions by product type.
