Helix Well Ops (UK) Ltd is part of Helix Energy Solutions, a global offshore energy services company specialising in Well Intervention and Robotics Operations. We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Accountant to join our finance team in Dyce, Aberdeen, UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and post month-end journal entries
- Assist with bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations
- Support Accounts Payable and intercompany accounting processes
- Assist with group and statutory audits
- Process intercompany invoices and labour recharges
- Prepare cost reports and investigate budget variances
- Support Capex reporting and capital commitment tracking
- Assist with regulatory and financial reporting requirements
- Maintain supplier records and financial data accuracy
- Support project setup and finance administration
- Assist with continuous improvement of accounting processes
- Assist the AP department with statement reconciliation
- Fulfilment of any other tasks required by the Financial Controller to aid development and growth
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related subject
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills
- Desire to study towards a professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, or ICAS)
