Job purpose
We have an excellent opportunity for a graduate building surveyor to join our Edinburgh office. Whether you are a recent Building Surveying graduate or already have some experience, you will join an expanding team working across a wide range of building surveying disciplines in a commercial environment. You will receive full support to achieve your APC, including access to corporate graduate training sessions that bring together national experts to upskill both TFT and client graduates.

Key Accountabilities
You will work with an enviable client list, including institutional funds such as M&G, L&G, and Aviva, across a mix of professional and project work, including:
- Contract administration
- Surveys and schedules of condition
- Technical due diligence
- Dilapidations
- Building pathology
- Due diligence services
- Specification and maintenance management
- PPM, RCAs, and licences to alter
- Pre-acquisition surveys
- Project monitoring
- Working to complete APC competencies
Performance Criteria
- BSc (Hons) or MSc in Building Surveying (RICS-accredited course)
- Experience in a commercial building surveying firm is useful but not essential
- Confidence in engaging with a wide range of stakeholders to build relationships
- Experience of CAD is advantageous but not compulsory

- Full driving licence and access to a car (due to the location of work)
- Willingness to travel
