Job Purpose

Reporting directly to the Business Process Improvement Manager, you will be a key member of the Business Improvement (BI) team, providing support within the Window Systems Division. The role supports the delivery of business improvement initiatives across the Division by applying analytical thinking, data-driven problem solving, and structured project support. This graduate position is designed to develop future BI leaders through hands-on experience in continuous improvement, systems analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Accountabilities

General

  • Adhere to all organisational policies, management systems, and standard operating procedures, including legal responsibilities related to Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality.
  • Work positively to develop and foster strong relationships with colleagues and contracted personnel, maintaining a culture of mutual respect and dignity.
  • Represent the organisation positively to protect and enhance the corporate image.
  • Promote and display the Epwin Core Values.

Technical

  • Assist in delivering improvement projects across manufacturing, warehousing, and support functions.
  • Collect, analyse, and interpret operational data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Support the development and maintenance of BI dashboards, reports, and visual management tools.
  • Participate in A3 problem-solving activities and Obeya-style project reviews.
  • Collaborate with the BI Manager and site teams to implement lean tools and process improvements.
  • Contribute to the standardisation and documentation of BI processes and systems.
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and structured manner.

Key Experiences and Skills Required

  • Degree in Engineering, Business, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience of manufacturing, warehousing, and distribution operations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Office apps, Outlook/Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
  • Project management capabilities.
  • Experience of process/change management.
  • Exposure to lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience with data analysis tools or ERP/MES systems (e.g., Navision, Mattec).
  • Full driving license.
