We are currently seeking a Graduate CAD Engineer to join a growing engineering and product development team based in Suffolk. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate with a product design background to develop their skills within a supportive and innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Create 3D models, assemblies, and 2D drawings using Autodesk Inventor.
- Support the design and development of new products from concept through to manufacture.
- Assist with prototype development, testing, and design improvements.
- Produce and maintain technical documentation, drawings, and BOMs.
- Work closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams on project delivery.
- Ensure designs meet performance, quality, and manufacturability requirements.
Skills And Experience Required
- Degree in Product Design, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience using Autodesk Inventor (preferred).
- Strong understanding of design principles and manufacturing processes.
- Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and willingness to learn.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
