Your Role

We are seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer to join our 2026 Graduate Programme, based in our picturesque Newcastle office.

From day one, you will contribute to significant projects within our Water business, both locally and nationally. From outline to detailed design, you will support the development of solutions that help obtain, clean, and distribute water for our communities, including flood alleviation and pollution management schemes.

Your day-to-day responsibilities may include:

  • Producing drawings and design calculations.
  • Using mapping software such as ArcGIS.
  • Technical report writing.
  • Preparing survey specifications.
  • Undertaking site visits.

Clients you could support include Northumbrian Water. Stantec has been appointed to their capital framework for North East infrastructure work, supporting an ambitious programme that covers the design, construction, and commissioning of new water and wastewater infrastructure, as well as the modification and refurbishment of existing assets.

About You

Working Model
