About the Role

We are looking for the next generation of Controls Systems Graduate Engineers to join our team of expert engineers on a wide range of interesting, complex, and diverse projects. This role will work alongside other departments in a highly dynamic environment across the full engineering cycle from concept through to production.

What You Will Be Doing

You will begin your Prodrive career with a 2-year graduate development scheme with continual professional and technical mentorship, where:

  • You will be working on a variety of live projects, where our team will be counting on your work and your output will be delivered to customers.
  • You will learn how a fast-paced engineering business works, delivering to its customers via unique processes and teamwork aligned to systems engineering principles and practices.
  • You will understand how the different functional areas work together, from business development, through commercial, programmes, design & engineering, manufacturing, workshop, inspection, machine shop, and more. You will be placed on secondments to various departments, completing specific graduate development activities.
  • You will learn about managing your time effectively working concurrently on multiple projects.
  • You will develop skills in teamwork, communication, and stakeholder management in a professional setting.
  • Appropriate training for specific tasks will be provided.
  • You will be encouraged to find your area of future specialism.
  • Your learning and development will be supported by all our different functional staff and ranges of experience.
  • You will be encouraged and supported to acquire professional registration within an appropriate body.

Who We Are Looking For

  • A Masters/Bachelors degree or equivalent within a field of Engineering is essential.
  • Strong involvement in projects is preferred.
  • You will have effective spoken and written communication skills.
  • The ability to operate both independently and in a collaborative, team environment.
  • Excellent organisation, prioritisation, and coordination skills are required.
  • Ability to work effectively and thrive in a fast-paced environment with proficiency in working under pressure.
