Your Role
We are seeking a Graduate Electrical Engineer to join our Energy team in Birmingham as part of our 2026 Graduate Programme. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a transmission and distribution team that plays a key role in the UK energy transition. You will support our clients in delivering electricity safely, reliably, and efficiently to communities across the UK, while driving toward a clean energy future.
Working within a multi-disciplinary design group, you will support the electrical engineering elements of solutions and produce associated outline and detailed designs to enable successful project delivery. Typical projects include:
- Substation refurbishment and extensions
- New-build substations
- Other electrical infrastructure within transmission and distribution

About You
At Stantec, we value your potential over past experience. You will have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and a keen interest in the Energy sector.

Working Pattern
To ensure appropriate support and development, graduates are asked to attend the office four days per week.
