The Opportunity
Within our Intelligent Mobility business our goal is to prepare our clients for a new era of user-focussed mobility and to create environments where more people can enjoy integrated, seamless journeys. To achieve this, we work with governments, industry and investors to use data and technology to reimagine mobility.

We focus on operational needs and user requirements, using data analytics, transport expertise, and technology to make journeys more efficient and enjoyable. Our goal is to create safe, sustainable, and efficient transport systems by considering entire journeys across all modes of transport.
We have been delivering Intelligent Mobility and ITS solutions for over 30 years on projects worldwide. Our services cover the full project lifecycle, from appraisal and concept, design to testing, commissioning, and ongoing operations
Some of the exciting work we do includes:

Designing traffic signal and parking guidance systems to keep traffic moving.

Designing intelligent transport systems for highways and tunnels, optimizing performance through advanced traffic management systems.

Developing transport system specifications and standards, with a focus on traffic control, communications, and information systems.

Lighting design, intelligent control and development of national standards.

Supporting the rollout of Electric Vehicle Charging Points across the strategic road network in England.

Developing solutions in traffic and tunnel control rooms for efficient management of systems and services

Creating electronic payment systems for tolling, road pricing, and smart public transport ticketing.

We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications and attributes:

A Bachelor's degree in a STEM subject, such as Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Systems Engineering, Highways Engineering, Data Science, or a related field (2.1 or above).

Great working knowledge of Office software and a willingness to learn new tools, including CAD, 3D design, and digital automation.

An interest in Intelligent Mobility and the ability to think analytically.

The drive to improve processes and find efficiencies.

Excellent verbal communication skills, which allow you to confidently liaise with clients and team members.

Excellent written communication and attention to detail and be able to demonstrate accurate technical drawings and good report writing.

Initiative and the ability to work independently.
