Our 12/18-month Graduate Programmes give you the opportunity to work on exciting and challenging projects alongside subject matter experts. On joining, you will receive a starting salary of £34,000 per annum, plus a £1,000 welcome bonus. You’ll also be eligible for a £1,000 exit bonus upon successful completion of the programme. In addition, you may be eligible for a Temporary Accommodation Allowance (TAA), subject to specific criteria.

We encourage you to spend at least three days each week on site to integrate with your team and maximise your learning experience.

During The Programme, You Will

  • Support the design and development of our world-leading electro-optical, communications and information system products under the guidance of experienced Electronics Engineering Leads.
  • Be introduced to utilising state-of-the-art methods, technology, and tools to explore all aspects of the development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, test, acceptance, and product support.
  • Interface with customers (internal and external) on many factors within the design and liaise closely with Engineers from all other disciplines including Mechanical, Software, Systems, Supportability, and Design Integrity.
  • Design, document, build, and test electronics circuits and firmware designs to go into our various systems.
  • Engage with technologies across a diverse range of products including Thermal Imaging Cameras, Vehicle Camera systems, Counter UAV systems, Precision Guidance systems, and Electronic Warfare products.
  • Develop expertise in the design of circuits, FPGAs and subsystems at various stages in the product lifecycle.

What You Will Bring

  • All roles require (a) a minimum of a 2:2 Bachelors/Integrated Master’s degree, or (b) a higher degree, such as a MSc or PhD
  • Acceptable degrees include Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Electronics Engineering, and Electronics biased degree covering topics such as digital design, analogue design, and signal processing.
  • Experience of using IC design and simulation tools.
  • A passion for solving complex engineering problems.
  • The drive to learn the skills required to become a professional Electronics Engineer.

Security Clearance

This role is subject to pre-employment screening in line with the UK Government’s Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS). An additional range of Personnel Security Controls referred to as National Security Vetting (NSV) may apply, which could include meeting the eligibility requirements for Security Check (SC) or Developed Vetting (DV).
