Graduate Engineer

Overview

We are looking for a graduate engineer for our Cardiff office. The ideal candidate has graduated from a Civil Engineering degree and possesses strong mathematical skills. We can teach everything else. This role is office based, Monday to Friday.

Main Purpose

Convert enquiries into innovative, efficient solutions that balance commercial and technical aspects to achieve profitable revenue and contribute to the growth and profitability of the RMDK Group.

Key Responsibilities

• Convert enquiries from customers and the Sales Team into drawings and quotations for the supply of RMDK equipment on a hire and sale basis.
• Work under the control, instruction, and guidance of the Engineering Manager and other senior staff, in conjunction with the Sales Team.
• Seek assistance from other Engineering Staff in RMDK product calculations and applications when required.
• Support orders received from customers through production of final drawings, cost estimates, progress paperwork, and agreement of variations, all through the Sales Team and as required for each project.
• Carry out work in accordance with RMDK BS EN ISO Procedures and RMDK Quality Assurance Procedures.
• Take proactive responsibility for RMDK Health and Safety issues.
• Enter into a continuous learning process in RMDK and civil engineering methodology, working towards a level of experience determined by the Engineering Director.

Qualifications & Skills

• Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Strong mathematics skills.
