Hutchison Ports – Port of Felixstowe is the UK’s largest deep-water container port and major gateway for global trade. We are looking are for committed and motivated Graduate Engineers to join our Engineering team. Our practical, hands-on Graduate Programme is designed to support you on your journey to a successful career in engineering. This is a two-year rotational program that will put you in the middle of everything, allowing you to undertake a dynamic learning experience. You will get to work on exciting and complex projects that provide you with daily learning opportunities, while being supported by experienced team members.

The Recruitment Process - What is involved?
Our recruitment process has been designed for you to easily apply and highlight the best of your skills, expertise and personal attributes. We want you to be prepared, confident and the best version of you for this role. Our recruitment process involves the redaction of each candidate’s identifiable information, leaving their skills, experience and answers to the competency questions to be assessed.
- Complete your online application on our website by 22nd March 2026. Please read the information about the role carefully and provide as much relevant information about yourself as possible and the transferable skills in relation to the role.
- Applications will be redacted removing any personal or identifiable data prior to being sent over to the hiring managers.
- In this process you should expect to have an initial Teams interview with 2 members of the Port, these will be conducted from April 2026.
- Should you be successful, this will be followed by a second interview which will be conducted on-site with members of the Engineering Department.
- After the interviews we will be in touch as soon as possible to let you know if you have been successful.
Hutchison Ports UK is able to sponsor skilled worker visas in cases where the role fits the requirements set out by the UK government. Please refer to the government website to understand the requirements needed. In cases where a post-study visa is used initially, it may be the case that the skilled worker visa requirements will not be met once this visa has expired.
