Purpose of the Role
- Complete a series of structured placements across the business, learning directly from experienced engineers and subject-matter experts.
- Support Operations, Customer Experience, and Project Management teams in delivering key rolling stock projects.
- Develop the competencies required to progress into an engineering role and work towards Incorporated or Chartered Engineer status.
Key Responsibilities
- Work alongside members of the Engineering team to develop practical engineering knowledge and skills.
- Meet agreed objectives and deadlines for each rotation.
- Support project activities and take ownership of assigned tasks or deliverables.
- Participate in meetings, workshops, and team events, contributing your ideas and insights.
- Prepare reports, documentation, and presentations to support engineering decisions and approvals.
- Assist the Engineering Manager with day-to-day tasks and project coordination.
